A fantastic antique bound book. With fine leather tooled binding with gilt letter spine and gold edged pages. To The front is the emblem for Dr Thomas Magus who was the founder of Magus Grammer School in Newwark-on Trent, England. The logo states 'As God Wyll', or As God's Will. The free grammer school was founded in 1530. Dated 1904, this is a lovely copy of John Ruskin's selected writings. The leather cover is a wonderful blue colour. Perfect for any collector or gift to someone connected to the school.
Condition
Fading to blue leather cover. Bumped corners and spine. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
