A stunning vintage gouache pastel. Signed by the artist, Jan Bates. Dating from the 1990s. Bates was based in Peterborough, Lincolnshire and sold through local galleries. The painting has a wonderful calm atmosphere, with warm browns and orange, which creats a tranquil feel. With a coloured double mount. Framed in a simple stained wood frame. A lovely hand painted piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
