A fantastic antique early 19th century reading table. From around 1830, this is of the William IV period. The top can be raised and also offset from the centre, with a reading slope or music stand on both sides. The top raised on an octagonal column and bun feet with hidden castors. A superb versatile piece of furniture. Perfect as a console or occassional table. It is a flexible table which can be used as a bed or readung table or as a dual music stand. A wonderful period piece that fully adjustable for modern living.

Only one book rest is present. There is a loss to the edge and some small losses to base veneer. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
