A super set of 11 bound books. Titled 'Ainsworth's Magazine: A miscellany of Romance, General Literature & Art', by William Harrison Ainsworth. The first book is dated 1842 and the last 1847. Half leather bound with gilt tooled spines. There are many black and white illustrations throughout the books.  A stunnning collection of period books which have been loved and read. They have a timeworn patina which adds to their charm. Perfect for any collector or to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character.
Condition
Areas of missing leather to spines. Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Some loose pages. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
