Here for sale is a fantastic antique pair of solid silver sugar tongs. Fully hallmarked by the maker, George William Adams, who produced under the name Chawner & Co. They have the date letter 'P' for 1850 and the London assay symbol. This Victorian piece has the classic shell pattern to the outside. The design is sharp and the silver gauge is of super quality. The tongs weigh 61g of sterling silver. A wonderful period piece by an expert maker, perfect as a gift or to use and enjoy.

Some tarnishing in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
