A fantastic antique desk or table. Stamped to the drawer edge with the makers name T. Seddon of 67 New Bond Street. Thomas Seddon III (1821 - 1856)was the grandson of the founder George. Thomas joined the established family business in 1836. The company was awarded the Royal Warrant in 1832. This stunning piece dates from the 1850s towards the end of Seddon's life. It has wonderful turned legs on heavy cast brass castors. The off white marble has a delicate grey vein. With two drawers to the front. This stunning table would work well as a desk or a console table. Or could be incorporated into a modern bathroom or interior to add soul and character to a space.

Filled holes to outer edge of wash stand. Small crack to marble to right hand side. Staining to marble in places. One castor is jammed. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
