A lovely antique set of Cassell's History of England. There are eight volumes and dated date from 1857 to 1864. Published by Cassell, Petter & Galpin. They have black and white illustrations are just wonderful. The covers are half leather bound and are harlequin set. These have been collected over time and much loved. Perfect to style in an interior, use or collect. Adding soul and character to any modern interior.
Volume 1 & 2 - Tan half leather dated 1857
Volume 3 & 4 - Gren half leather dated 1860
Volume 5 & 6 - Black half leather dated 1862
Volume 7 & 8 - Brown half leather 1864 (some loose pages)
Condition
These books have been used and loved, they have scuffed corners and spines, foxing to pages. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
