A super pair of antique books. Dating from 1865 to 1875. Titled 'The Builder, an illustrated Weekly Magazine, for the Architect, Engineer, Archeologist, Constructor and Art Lover'. Written by George Godwin. Both have marbled boards and cloth binding. There are many wonderful black and white illustrations throughout. An ex library edition from the Building Research Stion Library and was given as gift from RIBA in January 1954. A rare find, perfect for any collector or to read and enjoy.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
