Here for sale is a fantastic antique cobalt blue bottle. Embossed with the makers name 'Henry Berry Ltd, Melbourne'. Berry was a businessman who was born in Kent, England. In 1856 he arrived in Melbourne, Australia. He was the first business to manufacture salt from local deposits. His company was amalgamated with others at the end of the century to form Castle Salt Co-operative Co. This bottle is old and rare and dates from 1880s. We believe it was made to hold salt to be sold in grocery stores. This fabulous blue glass bottle is perfect to style on a shelf in a bathroom or kitchen to add soul and character in an interior.

Dirty inside. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
