Here for sale is a fantastic set of four Thonet bentwood chairs as featured in the 1886 catalogue as number 36, refer to photo. It has wonderful classic fluted legs which are typical of the Victorian era. These chairs would originally have been caned and have been upholstered at some point in their history. They have their original dark paint which is worn in places.
Perfect to grace any dinning table or to add soul to a modern interior.
Upholstery is worn. Original paint finish is worn in places. One of the chairs has a split to the bentwood on the top. Chairs are sound. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
