Here for sale is a fantastic quality antique bezique card table. The brass makers plaque to the underside of the table for, Walter Thornhill & Co of New Bond Street, London. Around the green baize there are hand made cribbage markers and bezique scoring clips. Dating from around 1890, this is a stunning table made by a master craftsmen. 
Walter Thornhill and Co were founded un 1734 by Joseph Gibbs and were originally cutlers listed in 1838 as cutlers to the queen. In 1895, the company was described as 'cutlers, gold and silversmiths, jewellers and manufacturers and dealers in dressing cases, travelling bags etc.'
A fabulous period table made by a renowned company. Perfect for any collector or card enthusiast. Wonderful to use and enjoy, and incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
Other some light marks on the baize in very good condition. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
