Here for sale is a fantastic antique silver plate jug. It is stamped to the bottom with the makers name D & H. James Deykin & Walter Andrew Harrison establish a partnership in 1895. The business became a limited company in 1907 and went on to be active until the late 1930s. This example is not labelled with the limited company so we can date it from 1895 to 1907. The jug is stamped with the size 3/4 of a Gill. This stunning silver plated jug has a tilt top lid and a wonderful patina. Perfect to style in any home to add soul and personality or simply to use.
Scratches to surface of plate. Cane handle has damage. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
