Here for sale is a set of six original art nouveau tiles. They have a spectacular depth of colour and dates from the early part of the 1900s. They are majolica pottery which means they have a lead glaze in a vibrant green colour.
The six tiles have stylised flower typical of the aesthetic period. Stamped on the back is the letter 'R' and No 383709
One tile has a small hole to the surface. These are original reclaimed tiles and have nibbles to some corners and signs of mortar to the back as they have been used. some small chip to the surface of tile please refer to photo. Some crazing to surface of tiles.
Some marks and scratches as they are old and has been used, but only adds to their character. Several nibbles to corners of tiles. Great decorative items which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

All items are sent tracked, insured and signed for. We are always happy to accommodate if you require items sooner.
