Fantastic antique optician's cabinet. This optometrist set dates from the turn of the century, around 1900. It has its makers plaque for 'Raphael's Ltd, London, Paris, Sydney'. This is a stunning set and very much as found with some lens missing. The cabinet is made from oak with tambour front to close. The internal tray lifts out. each lens has a small brass holder, which is stamped with strength. The set includes a charming set of examination glasses and lens measure gauge. There are two small drawers which have various lens and exampination equipment. The oak is in great condition for its age and has a wonderful warm hue. A rare find, perfect for any collector to use and enjoy. 
Condition
Tambour front is a bit stiff. Some lens are missing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
