Here for sale is a fantastic antique book. Titled 'The Life of Christ'. It has a handwritten inscription to the front from a Fergus J. Gleave from Reverend E. A. Lane, dated Christmas 1909. Our research indicated that Reverend lane was a curate at St Peter Church Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire between 1900 to 1904, and was associated with St John's College in 1899/00. The half leather is timeworn and split in places. The spine has a lovely gilt embossed detail and title.  A lovely piece for interior staging or to read and enjoy.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Some splitting to spine. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
