A fantastic antique typewriter. Made by Underwood and is the model No5. The serial number 4100486-1 indicate it was made in 1911. With heavy steel case which has a black lacquer to the body. There are four banks of black keys. The keys do not return to there original position. Space bar is detacted. This typewriter is really a lovely decorative piece and only for spares and repair. Great to incoporate into a modern interior to add a burst of character and soul.
Condition
As found condition and for spares and repair. Tarnishing to metal in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
