A fantastic antique cloth bound book. Titled 'Cunningham's Manual of Practical Anatomy' and is by the Late D.J Cunningham. This is the fifth edition and is dated 1912. To the front, hand written in pen is the original owners name and address, George Balsillie. Dr George Balsillie recieved his medical training in Edinburgh (where the address is at the front). After entering the Royal Navy, he held the position of Surgeon Lieutenant until 1920. We assume this book was one of the text books he used during his training.
With many black and white illustrations of the human body throughout. Several are tinted. A fabulous book full of history. Pefect for any collector, or to ready and enjoy.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Binding a little loose but still intact. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
