Here for sale is a fantastic set of steps made by H.C Slingsby. Slingsby are still in existence today, but started in the late 19th Century creating products for transport of goods such as truck barrows including exhibitions at the 1900 Paris Exhibition. Labelled Slingsby "Made in England" on both sides.
These stunning steps date, we understand from around 1920 so can now count themselves as antique. They have the design of antique library steps, but are constructed in pitch pine so probably used in a more industrial setting perhaps in a store. They are of solid construction and still usable. They have a lovely look and would be fantastic in a shop or home interior as a plant stand or to use.
Wear commensurate with age. Small damage to the bottom part of one of the legs as can be seen in the photos. Does not detract from the look. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
