A fantastic antique travel trunk. Made from canvas ans steamed beech bentwood slats. Dating from the first part of th 20th Century, where steamer ship and rail travel was the height of fashion. The canvas is a stunning deep blue colour. To the original locks and catches is stamped 'British PROV. PAT'. With metal renenforced corners. Internally there is not tray and original striped lining. There is a vintage label attached and one leather handle as the other is missing. These trunks make perfect coffee tables. They are also really useful for storage! A super period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul anc character.
Condition
A travel trunk which has bee used! One leather handle is missing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
