A fantastic pair of antique bentwood cafe chairs. Stamped by the macker, Mazowia. These chairs are based on the Thonet design, but were manufactured by Mazowia, a competitor to Thonet who manufactured chairs once the Thonet patents expired. 
Each chair has the Mazowia label and is stamped Mazowia, Made in Poland. Dating from between 1920 and 1930, each chair is in very  good condition. They are striking examples with the curved back and beautiful sun burst embossed design on the seats. A fabulous period pair of chairs, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
