A fantastic antique typewriter. Made by the Continential Company and made in Saxony, Germany. This is the portable example and comes complete with travel case. The serial number is R096439 which dates it to 1930. This is an early portable model made by this company, with four banks of white keys which are mounted on brass. It has a lovely cleaning brush mounted to the lid. With original onwers initals to front and base of case. This machines has been well looked after. It is working and is in wonderful condition for its age. With a japanned metal hard outercase case. A fabulous period piece, perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy. 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
