A fantastic antique framed pair of herbarium. The herbariums are hand collected and labelled by each indivdual and dates from 1921. The flower details and date are on a label to the reverse. This example is Swedish. They are mounted in a gilt painted frame and black painted glass with gold lines to form a mount. There are timeworn losses to the frame and areas of missing paint to the glass. They really are charming. A unique and one off pieces of art. Perfect to add a burst of personality and soul to any modern interior.
Condition
Loses to frame. Areas of missing paint to glass. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
