A fantastic antique museum specimen cabinet. This stunning cabinet is made for transporting speciments. It has a heavy reinforced case with tightly fitted drawers to keep safe in transit. It has a heavy metal carrying handle on the top. The front brass label holder shows what is in transit. Used for butterflies and moths with the label including Uraniidae which is a family of moths. There are seven drawers, each has a removable glazed lid. The lock on the cabinet is dated 1939. A fabulous and unique piece, perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy.
Some losses to the plywood back. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
