A fantastic pair of antique trays. Dating from the late 19th century and originally from Japan, so made during the Meiji period. Made from a wonderful repousee white metal with Chrysanthemums in relief. A larger and smaller tray. With a lovely timeworn patina to the metal. These types of trays were used as correspondence or letter trays. Unmarked but is a stunning pair to use as decorative pieces. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern home.

Condition

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
