Here for sale is a fantastic antique fret work mirror with traditional carved Ho Ho Bird. The Ho Ho bird is a mythical bird of Japan that became popular in European furniture in the 18th Century. This Georgian style mirror with the fret work and old gilt painted Ho Ho bird may date to later in the 19th Century. The plate is original and is lightly foxed in places. This stunning mirror has a wonderful patina and would look fabulous as part of a gallery wall or to add soul to a modern interior.
Very slight damage to the fretwork. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
