A fantastic antique mirror. Made from gesso plaster mounted on a wooden frame and painted with gold gilt paint. Dating from the late Victorian period. This is a much loved mirror with losses to each corner. it could have been used as a travelling or shaving mirror due to its distressed patina. The gilt paint used during this period has a wonderful green base which gives it a muted tone. A cute little mirror which would look amazing as part of a gallery wall. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
A distressed piece with lots of losses and cracking to gesso. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
