A fantastic antique pewter pen/quill holder and ink well. Stamped 'S O' with the crown mark, these pieces were issued by the Crown's Stationery Office for use by civil servants. With ceramic ink well, holes for pens or quill, and a lid. An interesting and beautiful piece of history. Perfect as a gift or to use and enjoy.
Condition
Damage to the rim of the ink well. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
