Here for sale is a simply stunning example of a Victorian correction chair. Constructed in beechwood we believe. Cane seat is in good condition. All joints are sound. Amazing condition for age and absolutely gorgeous shape and colour.

Correction or deportment chairs also known as Astley Cooper chairs after the surgeon who designed the chairs to correct poor posture in children. Would now look wonderful in an interior setting.

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
