Here for sale is a fantastic antique 19th Century oak cabinet with later labels on drawers for spices and signwriting to the front. The stunning writing to the front is in a gold gilt and is much later. It has its original handles to front and inside. The cabinet itself dates from the early 19th Century or possibly even 18th Century. A wonderful patina to the wood.
Perfect for a bathroom or kitchen for storage and to make a statement.
The hinges are old and have some give in them so that the door sits a little low when opened. Lots of signs of its age, historical wood worm holes. There are brass hanging plates to the back which have been mounted on a newer piece of wood.
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
