A fantastic antique book. Titled 'The Last Secrets: The Final Mysteries of Exploration' by John Buchan. This is the first edition and dates from 1923. It has its original cloth binding with lovely colour embossed cover. The book contains an account of the achievements in exploration in the first two decades of the twentieth century. There are 12 illustrated pages and 10 maps. A wonderful book on a fascinating subject, perfect for a collector or to read and enjoy.

Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to pages. Faded spine and boards, staining to back. Firmly tight binding. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
