A fantastic antique filing cabinet. Made in oak and had its original makers plaque for 'Advance'. Advance was a renowned maker of office furniture. The filing drawer also has its original owners plaque for W. J. Southwood & Co, Exeter. Southwood was a publishing company based in Exeter at the turn of the Century. There is an internal divider to keep all the contents tight and to stop any paperwork from falling over. The stained oak body has panelled sides and original brass pull handle and index card holder. A fabulous period filing cabinet, prefect for any home office or study to use and enjoy.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
