Here for sale is a fantastic antique bakelite telephone. Made by The Strowger Automatic Manufacturing Company. There is a fabulous brass plate by the cradle handle and it is fully embossed with the makers name and logo. The Strowger Automatic telephone exchange company was founded in 1881 by Almon Brown Strowger. There has been a long history of telecommunication at the Liverpool site where many innovations was launched. This is a later telephone and is not working and for decoration only.

The original label is on the dial and is for a telephone in Stamford Bridge

Please note this is not working!! Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

We are a family company and love sourcing unusual pieces which bring a burst of individual style to the most modern of interiors, creating interiors with soul!
