A fantastic antique jar. Made from ceramic and dates from the first part of the 20th century. With original liquid under glass label and outlined in gold gilt paint. The front label translates to 'Resin Ointment'. It has an unusual deep red colour. It was used in a apothecary for the stoage of remedies and tinctures. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add a burst of personality and soul.
Condition
Lid is missing! Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
