A fantastic antique stationery cabinet. With ivorine label for Army and Navy Copperative Society Limited. The Army and Navy CSL was founded in 1871 by armed forces Officers to provide quality goods to their members. Dating from the turn of the century and made from english oak. It was made for use out in the field or on campaigns by officers. It is of super quality and has a Bramah lock, which was a high quality maker of brass locks during this period. This rare cabinet has so much history, it has some original letters which are dated 1934. A stunning period piece, perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy.
Condition
No key. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
