A fantastic antique copper cooking pot. Made from hand beaten copper and stamped by the maker. Benham & Sons Ltd, were based at Wigmore Street, London. The company was established in the 1870s and produced high quality copperware to the hotels and restaurants in London. They were an off shoot of famous business Benham and Froud. This piece is stamped 'Made in France' and dates from the end of the 19th Century. It has cute carry handles which are hand forged. In 1907, the company closed its site in London and moved to Birmingham. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
