A lovely bowl or basin. Made from hammered brass and fabulous rolled edge. It could have been used as a Ottoman Tombak Hammam bowl. It looks to have been used on a open fire or camp fire and has tarnishing to the base. It has a wonderful timeworn patina. With a slight domed base. It would make a super hand wash basin with the necessary drainage. A great period piece, perfect to add soul and character to any modern space. 
Condition
Domed base, so does have a wobby on a flat surface. Tarnishing to base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
