A fantastic pair of antique books. Titled 'Pilgrims Progress' by 'John Bunyan'. To the front cover is a library label for Rev. Thomas Piggott. The book was gifted to him from his parents and it is dated February 1893. Thomas Piggott (1840-1902) was a Methodist minister based in Lincoln. This is a lovely pair of half leather books with gilt embossed spine and marbled boads. Lots of lovely black and white illustrations. Perfect for interior staging or to read and enjoy.

Condition

Foxing to pages, scuffed and bumped corners. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
