A fantastic antique trivet. Made from cast iron and brass and with the most exquisite acanthus leaf design to the base. Dating from the Victorian period and with a pierced metal top. A heavy piece which is unmarked. It would have been used by an open fire to rest a kettle or cooking pot. Now it is ideal as a plant, bust or candle stand. Adding soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
