A fantastic set of three antique books. Written by Edwin Hodder and titled 'Cities of the World, Their Origin, Progress and Present Aspect'. Each is half leather bound and have many black and white illustrations. This three volume set have lots of wear and a great timeworn patina. Published by Cassell and Company Limited.  Dating from the end of the 19th Century these books are lovely to read, enjoy or stage in a home interior.

Condition

Foxing to pages and lots of wear to leather spine and corners. Leather is missing in places on corners on cover. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
