A fabulous original antique tile made by by Craven Dunnill & Co. Founded by Henry Powell Dunnill in 1872, they were based in the Jackfield works, Staffordshire, England. The company was renowned for producing high quality tiles especially for fireplaces. 
This stunning tile has been reclaimed from an antique fireplace and has a wonderful crisp colour and patina, which is typical of the Aesthetic movement. Perfect to use as a coaster, or incoporate into a modern interior to add a burst of personality and charm.
Condition
These are original reclaimed tiles and have nibbles to some corners and signs of mortar to the back as they have been used. Some areas of crazing to the surface of tile please refer to photo. These tiles are reclaimed from a fireplace and there has signs of black to back and discolouration.
Some marks and scratches as it isold and has been used, but only adds to its character. Several nibbles to corners of tiles. Great decorative items which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
