A fantastic antique original picture. Painted on glass this is the insignia for a Devonshire Regiment. An infantry regiment of the British Army that existed between 1881 to 1958. It has the moto 'Semper Fidelis' which means 'always faithful'. 
Dating from the middle part of the 20th Century and hand painted onto the glass in reverse. Common in military commemorations and the insiginia is used on cap badges. It has a lovely gold banding and black background. With its original simple wooden frame. A lovely piece, perfect for any collector or anyone connected to the police service.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
