Here for sale is a fantastic English antique early 19th Century ash and elm Windsor armchair.

Lovely shaped seat with a pierced slat back and traditional H Stretcher.

The Windsor chair is a classic English design dating from the 18th century. Made throughout England, each areas has its own characteristics and design.

This early 19th century chair is full of character with a gorgeous patina on the seat and arms where the dark finish has been worn back to the original wood through use and wear.

As expected, signs of its history and use. Repaired split to arm and other historical repairs. Some old wood worm holes on part of the seat. Condition is consistent with age. We do not recommend this chair for heavy every day use. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

We are a family company and love sourcing unusual pieces which bring a burst of individual style to the most modern of interiors, creating interiors with soul!
