Here for sale is a fantastic Gledhill and Sons cash register. G. H Gledhill moved in to the Trinity works site in 1892 to manufacture cash tills. This is a lovely example dating probably from the early 20th century. Beautifully constructed from mahogany with dovetailed joints. The coin drawers compartments has lovely worn patina from years of use. Locks to the drawer and the top along with a hidden catch in the top screw of the handle which opens the drawer without the key. Keys to the top and drawer are provided and the locks are working (the hidden catch is not fully working). Lovely working bell.
Stunning and interesting item that is full of history.
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
We are a family company and love sourcing unusual pieces which bring a burst of individual style to the most modern of interiors, creating interiors with soul!
