A fantastic antique table. Made from English oak and traditionally know as a 'Penbroke' table. Dating from the Victorian period, they were used mainly as breakfast tables. This example has exquisite brass campaign handles, so could be a military piece. With four turned legs and two flaps to each side to extend the top to seat four. A swing out arm is used to support the leaf when open. The wood has a wonderful warm hue and tone. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
