A fantastic antique papers rack. Made from English oak and carved with the the word 'Papers'. With a stunning pokerwork background and dates from the first part of the 20th Century. We assume that it was used in a large grand house or gentlemen's club to store the daily newspaper. The scalloped carved edges are just wonderful. With holes to either side for wall mounting. A fabulous period piece, perfect as a gift or to use and enjoy. 
Condition
Small area of missing wood to the letter 'R'. Area of missing wood to corner. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
