A fantastic antique candlestick. Made from silver plate, in England and typical of those made in the Sheffield area at the turn of the century. It has the most stunning ornate cast acanthus leaf detail to the upstand. The candle cup is on the larger size and still takes a standard dinner candle, but will require some melted wax to keep it secure. There are remains of wax and tarnishing to the plate which adds to its charm. A lovely period piece, perfect to add soul and charater to any modern interior.
Condition
Old wax and tarnishing in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
