A fantastic antique desk. Made from rosewood with the most exquisite inlaid detail in different fruitwoods including satinwood banding. Consiting of an writing area with tooled leather insert. With four small drawers underneath and beautiful inlaid urn to the front. Above is a glazed bookcase or vitrine cabinet with fixed shelves, which have a boxwwod banding to the edge. The brass lock has VR stamped to it which means it dated from the late Victorian period.  With working key. A truely stunning period piece, made by a master craftsmen. Perfect to incoporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.  
Condition
We think handles are possibly later. Bookcase and desk comes apart for transport. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
