A fantastic fine antique display cabinet. This is an Anglo-Indian piece made in India for the colonial and export markets.
The inlay is brass and is almost certainly from the Hoshiarpur district based on Mughal arcitectural friezes. The inlay features a central flower with framing leaves joined by fine brass wire. The brass is set in local hardwoods, most probably Indian Rosewood. 
The shape of the cabinet is based on English designs popular in Europe as these pieces were exported and often sold in English store such as Liberty's. In this case an Edwardian Sheraton revival design. The drop handles is solid cast brass also made based on English designs. The interior and back is all made from hardwood. The cabinet splits in to two parts. A fabulous useful piece, perfect to incoporate into a modern interior to add a burst of personality and soul.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
