Upper Bookcase: Features twin glazed doors with original glass, perfect for displaying fine literature or decorative objects.
Fitted Secretaire Drawer: The deep central drawer pulls out and opens down via a smooth quadrant hinge mechanism to reveal a comprehensive writing bureau.
Desk Interior: Features a writing surface, four miniature drawers, document slots, and decorative architectural turned baluster columns.
Lower Cupboard: Two beautifully carved doors showcasing traditional Jacobean geometric lattice/trellis patterns surrounded by deep acanthus leaf scrollwork, opening to reveal generous storage.
Hardware: Adorned with original, heavy ornate brass drop handles.
Condition
In original condition. Some movement in the drawer but fully functional. The writing surface is split on the fold. Some historical word worm holes in the raw hidden timber. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
