A fantastic antique set of coat hooks. Made from beech wood and have curved hooks using the technique of bentwood. Very much in the style of Thonet who pioneered the technique of steaming wood to change its form. Originally made in France and with a fabulous organic design which dates from the first part of the 20th Century. The wood has a wonderful tone and hue.  Hand turned finials. A stunning period piece, perfect to add a burst of character and soul to any modern interior. 
Condition
One of the hat hook ends is missing its finial. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
